Little Ninja
Our Little Ninja classes for ages 3–5 are designed to build coordination, listening skills, confidence, and essential life skills through fun, age-appropriate martial arts training.
At this stage of development, children are learning important physical and cognitive skills such as balance, coordination, body awareness, memory, following directions, and impulse control. Our classes are specifically structured to support and strengthen these developmental milestones through engaging activities, games, and martial arts-based exercises.
Students learn basic martial arts movements while practicing focus, taking turns, listening carefully, and following instructions in a positive and encouraging environment. These foundational skills help prepare children for success both in school and in everyday life.
Beyond the physical benefits, our program helps children develop confidence, self-control, perseverance, and respect for others. Through positive reinforcement and achievable goals, students gain a sense of accomplishment while having fun, making friends, and building habits that will benefit them for years to come.

Karate for Beginners
Our Karate Classes for ages 6 and up are designed to help students build confidence, discipline, focus, and physical fitness in a positive, structured environment.
Students learn strong foundational martial arts skills while also developing an understanding of the "how" and the "when" behind each technique. Knowing how to properly execute a skill, why it works, and when it is appropriate to use it are essential components of effective self-defense.
We also place a strong emphasis on bullying prevention. Studies have shown that martial arts training can help children develop resilience, confidence, and the ability to handle challenging situations appropriately. Students learn the importance of avoiding physical conflict whenever possible while gaining the confidence to stand up for themselves when necessary.
The benefits of Karate extend far beyond self-defense. Training helps improve active listening, concentration, coordination, goal setting, and self-discipline. Many students also experience increased confidence, self-esteem, improved performance in school and athletics, and a greater sense of respect for themselves and others.

It's More Than Just Karate...
A child's success in martial arts is about more than what happens on the training floor. It is built through the encouragement, support, and commitment of the people who cheer them on every step of the way.
When families invest in their child's growth, amazing things happen. Confidence begins to replace self-doubt. Perseverance develops through challenges. Respect, responsibility, and self-discipline become habits that carry over into school, friendships, and everyday life.
The lessons learned in martial arts don't stay in the dojo—they impact the entire family. Children who believe in themselves are more likely to try new things, overcome obstacles, and become positive influences on those around them. Their confidence grows, their character strengthens, and their successes become victories shared by everyone who supports them.

How often are belt graduations? We test every 4 months and graduations are in February, June, and October.
How much do they cost? Graduation fees are not included in tuition, as not every child will be ready to graduate every time. The $45 fee covers the test, belt, certificate, and board.
What if I go on vacation? Your membership can be placed on a temporary hold, and that time will be added to the end of your membership.
Do you have contracts? Yes and no. We have a monthly option and our 4, 8, and 12-month commitments do not auto-renew, so you can switch it up to fit your current situation at the end of each term.
What equipment will they need? They will receive their first uniform at registration, which includes pants, top, shirt, and belt. They will need a set of Kali sticks which are $25.
Additional uniforms can be purchased at $45 for the full set, $35 for just top and pants, and $20 for shirt only.
Sparring gear will be required once they graduate into the advanced class (about a year after they start).
Each family is unique, and we have options to fit everyone. We have discounts for families, military, and commitment length. We have monthly, 4-month, 8-month, and 12-month commitment options, with flexible options to adjust your membership.
As a baseline, regular tuition for 1 person is $155/month and will vary from there depending on your specific needs and discounts applicable.
Please send us an email with the number of people who would like to train and their ages, and we are happy to send you your family's tuition price.

Ms. Christine really goes above and beyond for her students and their families! From obstacle course Fridays to a play area for siblings, she adds special touches to everything she does. She stays in communication with parents on each child’s development and really takes the time to get to know her students.

The teachers have incredible patience with all their students even those who need a little extra support. They adapt to the needs of each student, which allows everyone to succeed. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I highly recommend them!

At first, they wanted to just watch from off the mat, but now we can barely get them out of the building! Whether on the mat learning, volunteering, or demonstrating their skills, they love it there. We've seen them grow so much while training at East West! The instructors are great!
